The duties of the registry office of the VGem Kitzingen will be transferred to the registry office of the large district town of Kitzingen with effect from 1 January 2026.

The Kitzingen District Office approved the "major transfer" in its decision dated 8 October 2025. The agreement concluded on the transfer of tasks is available for inspection in the town hall (room 2.1) during general business hours.
