Refurbishment of Breslauer Strasse

From 1 September 2025, access to the northern settlement will only be possible via Egerländer Straße. Work is continuing at the Texasweg/Breslauer Straße junction. The area will be closed to traffic until the end of November.

Access to Galgenwasen is still possible via the B8. Access to the car park of buildings 20, 22 and 24 (the large Bau-GmbH /Ärztehaus car park) will still only be possible via Saarlandstraße.

This will be followed by further cable and paving work and then finally the actual road construction, including the footpath and cycle path. The work is scheduled for completion in spring 2026.
