There is plenty to discover in Kitzingen – not just for adults, but for children too. The staff at the Tourist Information Centre have therefore relaunched the popular Kitzingen Children’s Quiz. One version is aimed at children aged three and over, and the other at children aged six and over.
The children’s quiz has been running since 2022, and now the time was right for a new series.
Franziska (aged 11) and Helena Then (aged 8) developed the new tour and the questions together with Alexander Nuss from TI. The Petra Reissmann design studio in Großlangheim brought the ideas together perfectly and turned them into a brilliant brochure featuring a children’s quiz.
Kati and Kilian guide the children playfully through the town, introducing landmarks such as the town hall and the churches in a way that’s suitable for children. At each stop, the children get to answer a question. The route in the quiz booklet is signposted and takes them over the Old Main Bridge and through a small section of the former State Garden Show grounds, back towards the Old Town, past the Falter Tower and the fire station, and on to the Tourist Information Centre. At the end of the tour, a little surprise awaits the hard-working quiz enthusiasts there.
