The start and finish were at Bleichwasen. Among those taking part were staff from Sparkasse Mainfranken, the AWO, Edeka, KUS Kälte Service GmbH, Mainactio, Seynstahl, as well as from the District Office and the town of Kitzingen. Organiser Erik Heidrich described it as a “great start” – particularly given the relatively short preparation time. He announced that the event would be repeated next year. The organisers intend to learn from the experience of this inaugural event and offer an even more attractive corporate run in Kitzingen in 2027. The timing and route, for example, are worth considering. “But Kitzingen definitely has potential,” he said. The expressions on the runners’ faces as they crossed the finish line confirmed this view. The winner was Luis Bonfig from Sparkasse Mainfranken with a time of 19 minutes 09 seconds. The fastest woman was Regine Amling from Seynstahl with a time of 25 minutes 02 seconds.
