Music schools can familiarise children with the basic elements of music from a very early age, identify and nurture musical talent at an early stage, and guide them towards participating in musical life through a structured, step-by-step approach to teaching.
There are specific regulations governing the use of a local or municipal music school. These set out, for example, the rules on enrolment and withdrawal, the services provided and lesson times.

Costs
Fees may be charged for attending lessons at the music school, for the use of instruments and for taking part in courses.
