International school exchange; information on funding

Service content

Description of the
International school exchanges can be financially supported as part of a school partnership:
- Reimbursement of travel expenses for state teachers
- If applicable, funding from the Bavarian Youth Council (depending on the destination country and type of programme)
- Funding by the Bavarian Youth Exchange Foundation, if applicable
- Funding through the EU education programme Erasmus+, if applicable
- Funding by the youth organisations, if applicable
- Districts and municipalities can grant a subsidy for visits by pupils as part of school partnerships. Information on the funding guidelines and the application form can be obtained from your local authority.
