Etwashäuser Parish Fair

At the Etwashausen parish fair, also known as the ‘Ebshäuser Kerm’, large numbers of visitors are once again expected in the gardeners’ suburb of Etwashausen, particularly on the Sunday of the fair. Parish fairs are a major event in Kitzingen and the surrounding area, particularly the ‘Etwashäuser Kirchweih’, the largest of its kind in the entire district, featuring a huge parade, floats decorated with flowers and vegetables, music groups, wine queens, student fraternities and traditional costume groups; the coronation of the new Gardeners’ Queen is celebrated here in style.
