The heart beats for the brain – how to communicate effectively with people with dementia

How can we interact effectively with people with dementia, even when restlessness, aggression or repeated questions make everyday life difficult? This talk demonstrates how respectful and empathetic communication can provide reassurance, defuse conflicts and make interactions easier. The focus is on the emotional level – to foster greater understanding and a more relaxed atmosphere. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
