Volunteering

In Kitzingen hat freiwilliges Engagement einen besonderen Stellenwert und prägt das soziale Miteinander unserer Stadt. Zahlreiche Bürgerinnen und Bürger bringen ihre Zeit, ihr Wissen und ihre Leidenschaft ein, um Vereine, Initiativen oder soziale Projekte zu unterstützen. Ob im Sport, in der Kultur, im sozialen Bereich oder bei Veranstaltungen – ohne Ehrenamt wäre vieles nicht möglich.

Die Stadt Kitzingen schätzt dieses Engagement sehr und schafft Rahmenbedingungen, die den Einsatz erleichtern und wertschätzen. Wer sich einbringen möchte, findet vielfältige Möglichkeiten, die zu den eigenen Interessen passen. Gemeinsam gestalten wir ein lebendiges und starkes Kitzingen – für heute und für kommende Generationen.

Ehrenpreis der Stadt Kitzingen

We award an honorary prize for voluntary work to up to three people each year. Well-founded nominations can be submitted by 15 June each year! The

honorary prize is intended to recognise individuals who, through their sustained efforts, have rendered outstanding service to the welfare of the town of Kitzingen and its residents.

The honorary award takes the form of a glass trophy bearing an image of the oldest town seal and is accompanied by a cash prize of 500 euros. The City of Kitzingen’s Advisory Board on Volunteering reviews the nominations received and forwards its recommendations for the award to the City Council, which makes the final decision.

Proposals should be submitted in writing by email to veranstaltung@stadt-kitzingen.de or by post to Stadt Kitzingen, Hauptverwaltung, Kaiserstraße 13/15, 97318 Kitzingen.

Referat für Ehrenamt

Um den Stellenwert des Ehrenamtes im gesellschaftlichen Leben hervorzuheben, hat der Stadtrat ein eigenes Referat für das Ehrenamt geschaffen. Das Referat arbeitet eng mit dem Freiwilligenzentrum WirKT zusammen.

Freiwilligenzentrum WirKT

Das WirKT Freiwilligenzentrum ist eine Einrichtung des AWO Bezirksverbandes und als Dienstleister für die Stadt Kitzingen tätig. Es unterstützt auf Anfrage die Referentinnen und Referenten der Stadt Kitzingen im Bereich Ehrenamt und Integration.

WirKT betreut die Projekte "Landsleute helfen Landsleuten", "WirKT KinderPaten", "WirKT SeniorenPaten", die "Taschengeldbörse" sowie das "Frauenzimmer" in der GU Innopark.


Freiwilligenagentur GemeinSinn

GemeinSinn schafft eine Vernetzung für freiwillig Engagierte und Organisationen/Vereine. Darüber hinaus, plant die Freiwilligenagentur Schulungen zum Thema Ehrenamt und ist Ansprechpartner für alle Fragen bezüglich Ehrenamt und Ehrenamtlichen Interesse.
