Today, the Alte Synagoge cultural centre is one of Kitzingen's liveliest cultural venues - a house full of history, atmosphere and inspiring encounters. Since its reopening in 1993, the synagogue has delighted visitors with a varied programme: rousing concerts, humorous cabaret, impressive multivisions, exciting readings, lectures, theatre and selected film evenings. The adult education centre, the Friends of the Synagogue, the music school and other city institutions also bring their diverse programmes to the stage here.
