The confectionery museum is located in a Renaissance half-timbered house on Kitzingen's market square, which was built in 1556 by Kitzingen councillor Christoff Hagen. From 1722, it housed a gingerbread bakery and a specerey shop and from 1833 to 1939 a confectionery. From this old craft business, extensive stocks of wooden models, moulds of all kinds and other craft equipment have been preserved. The legacy of the old masters is now open to the public in the historic former living quarters on the three upper floors of the house.
