Wedding ceremonies at Kitzingen Town Hall and on the Town Balcony are extremely popular. The town of Kitzingen has therefore expanded its range of services for the coming year.

From 2027, wedding ceremonies on the Stadtbalkon will take place once a month from May to September on a fixed Friday, and additionally from June to August on a fixed Saturday. There are three possible times: 10.00 am, 11.00 am and 12.00 pm. The weddings will be conducted by registrars from the Kitzingen Registry Office. Further dates may be arranged upon personal request and in consultation with the Mayor, Dr Enis Tiz.

If bad weather is forecast for the day before the wedding, the ceremonies will take place in the town hall/wedding hall. It is therefore not possible to reschedule the date. An additional fee of 200 euros applies for a wedding ceremony on the town balcony.

Weddings in the town hall’s wedding hall generally take place on Thursday and Friday mornings. Saturday weddings are held on a pre-arranged Saturday each month. Dates and further information:
