Description of the
If you want to run a restaurant, discotheque, etc., you must comply with the regulations on closing times.
The general curfew in Bavaria begins at 5 a.m. and ends at 6 a.m. (so-called "Putzstunde"). The curfew is lifted on the night of 1 January.
If there is a public need or special local circumstances, the closing time can be extended (i.e. the respective business must close earlier than 5 a.m.), shortened or cancelled by municipal ordinance. Under the same conditions, the municipalities can also extend or completely cancel the closing time for individual businesses in individual cases.
The curfew regulation has been in force in this form since 1 January 2005.

Local authorities may only deviate from the general curfew if this is justified by a public need or special local circumstances.
When deciding what curfew to impose, local authorities must in all cases take into account the interests of the local community – in particular their right to a peaceful night’s sleep.Costs
