With a population of around 23,000 (as of June 2025), Kitzingen is the largest town in the district of Kitzingen and a vibrant regional centre in the heart of Main-Franconia.
In addition to the town centre of Kitzingen, which includes the districts of Etwashausen (2,957 inhabitants) and Die Siedlung (5,524 inhabitants), the municipality also comprises the districts of Hoheim (716 inhabitants), Sickershausen (1,096 inhabitants), Hohenfeld (912 inhabitants) and Repperndorf (709 inhabitants).
