JAZZ AND MORE “From Rio to New York feat. Franziska Graz”

To kick off the new ‘Jazz and More’ series, we’re focusing on the laid-back, rhythmic sounds of bossa nova and swing classics from the Golden Age of Jazz. As always, Bernhard Pichl (piano), Rudi Engel (bass) and Florian Kettler (drums), together with their special guest, will present the theme in an entertaining and impressive manner – peppered with anecdotes, stories and improvisation that only comes to life on stage. This time they’ll be joined by Franziska Graz. She is well known on the scene for her energetic jazz vocals, improvisational skills and melodic virtuosity. She is the lead singer of the band ‘Canto Da Lua’ and a member of the award-winning ‘Silberwort Ensemble’. Influenced by greats such as Ella Fitzgerald and João Gilberto, she blends jazz and bossa nova traditions into her own unique style.
