Around 40 new allotment plots are to be created just below the Innopark. The councillors voted unanimously in favour of the by-law resolution. The city council has already received around 60 applications for an allotment. There is clearly a demand. The site, covering around 2.6 hectares, is situated on Steigweg and Johann-Adam-Kleinschroth-Straße and is currently used as farmland. Around 40 plots, each measuring between 150 and 250 square metres, are to be created on an area of approximately 7,500 square metres.
