Spectacular work is underway at the new State Archives on the Deuster site: on Monday morning, a crane lifted the footbridge onto the prepared piers. This marks a significant step forward in the external works on the site. Forty-two public car parking spaces and five for motorbikes are due to be completed before the end of this year. Thanks to a new footpath, pedestrians will in future be able to walk to the market square in just around five minutes. The path will lead across the newly constructed bridge – and thus along Feldstraße – to Hindenburgring Nord, and is due to be completed in the coming weeks. It ends opposite the main entrance to the Paul-Eber-Schule. The passageway across the school grounds will remain open to the public.
