Building law statutes

Building law statutes

Building regulations supplement the provisions of local development plans – for example, through design regulations, regeneration regulations or internal area regulations – in order to preserve the character of the townscape, create building land or regulate development costs.

Design statutes

The design statutes regulate the external design of buildings in the historic centre of the town of Kitzingen. The numerous individual monuments and the market square, which is protected as an ensemble, are to be maintained, designed and preserved with these statutes.

Advertising installation statutes

The advertising system statutes relate to the erection, attachment, installation, modification and operation of advertising systems. The bylaws protect the historic character of the town centre and streetscape.

Parking space regulations

The parking space regulations apply to parking spaces for motor vehicles that are to be created or can be redeemed in the area of the city of Kitzingen, unless special regulations exist in development plans. It regulates the required number of parking spaces for projects that require authorisation, projects that do not require authorisation or projects that do not require a permit, as well as the replacement. In addition, the statutes regulate parking spaces for bicycles and their replacement.

Redevelopment statutes

As part of the redevelopment statutes, measures are to be implemented in the old town area that can remedy the urban development deficiencies found. At the same time, the statutes are intended to enable the sustainable development of the quality of living, working and life in the redevelopment area. The city centre has been a redevelopment area since 2019. With the redevelopment statutes, the city provides attractive funding opportunities and renovation incentives.

Change ban

The change ban is a local statute in accordance with § 14 BauGB of the city of Kitzingen. The change ban safeguards the town's urban development objectives for the construction of an educational centre in the area of Dagmar-Voßkühler-Straße (change ban Annex 1).
