Music enriches life – whatever your age! The music school’s new course, ‘MusikAktiv – Music knows no age!’, is aimed at all older people who would like to discover or rediscover the diverse world of music.
No prior musical experience is required. Through the use of their voices, movement and easy-to-play instruments, participants will discover just how simple, varied and enriching making music together can be. The course runs for three months. The course fee is 44 euros. The course will be led by Bettina Winkler. A taster session will take place on Saturday 26 September, starting at 10.30 am. Here’s what participants can expect from the course: making music with xylophones and percussion instruments; playing djembes, congas and bongos; singing well-known and new songs; experimenting with speech and the voice; traditional dances from various cultures; and music and movement using everyday objects.
