For the past five years, volunteers have been distributing healthy, fresh food to those in need several times a year. On Thursday 1 October, it’s that time again. From 10.30 am to 11.30 am, the ‘Healthy Vegetable Box’ will be handed out at the Deanery Centre.
Seasonal vegetables are provided by Hildegard Töpfner from the ‘Empathie e.V.’ association and gardeners from Albertshofen. Staff from the two churches, as well as Astrid Glos and her team of volunteers, are responsible for distributing the produce. To ensure that this initiative can continue in the years to come, the organisers are asking for support. Donations are more than welcome. Account: Kath.
