The Adult Education Centre Kitzingen offers integration courses for people who want to settle in Germany and learn the German language. BAMF integration courses
Overview
A regular integration course comprises 700 teaching units (UE) of 45 minutes each and consists of
- German language course with 600 lessons of 45 minutes each
- Orientation course with 100 lessons of 45 minutes each: Living in Germany
Requirements for participation
- Certificate of eligibility (original):
This is issued by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), the Jobcentre or the Foreigners’ Registration Office. Alternatively, you may attend our course as a self-paying participant without a certificate of eligibility. - Placement test: A placement test
is held before the start of a course. This can be taken at the vhs Integration Courses office in Kitzingen Town Hall.
Costs
The courses are funded by the German government through the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) and may be subsidised or free of charge under certain conditions.
