The Kitzingen Language Week has been held every spring since 2020. Diversity is once again the theme this year. At various venues, a range of contributors will use a variety of formats to help young and slightly older people appreciate the importance and beauty of language.

Book requests for children can be fulfilled at the bookshop. The books are for children aged 9–10 in Year 4. Book requests can be fulfilled at the Schöningh and Buchladen Seite 1 bookshops.
The project is supported by the ‘Give Children a Smile’ initiative.
Collection on 7 May 2026 at 1.30 pm by school representatives. Colouring books are available for collection from nursery schools.

A new bookcase is installed every year during Language Week. A new bookcase will soon be installed in front of the Aplawia on Lochweg.
