The Americans left Kitzinger 20 years ago. This important anniversary has been marked over the past few months with an exhibition and many other events. Now the ‘Wildtimes Year’ is slowly drawing to a close – but there is still one musical highlight to come.
Deputy Mayor and Court Councillor Walter Vierrether and his organising team have once again come up with something special: no fewer than three bands will be bringing the ‘wild days’ to life through music on Saturday 21 November at the Kitzing Deanery Centre. This may well be the last concert at the time-honoured Deanery Centre, which, as is well known, is due to be sold. Fans can look forward to a variety of musical genres: rock, beat and country-rock will be on offer when the ‘Crazy Papas’, ‘The Hemlocks’ and ‘Sunset-Country’ take to the stage.
Tickets are available from the Tourist Information Centre (advance sales €13 / on the door €15). This event is only possible thanks to the support of many volunteers and sponsors. Walter Vierrether would like to thank VR Bank, Sparkasse Mainfranken, LKW and the town of Kitzingen.
