For the fourth year running, a ‘Historical Calendar’ featuring special Kitzing-themed images is being produced. Staff at the municipal archive and the tourist information centre are relying on the public’s help with this.
We are looking for interesting historical photographs from all districts of Kitzingen, preferably in colour – though black-and-white images are also very welcome. In previous calendars, side-by-side comparisons of the past and the present were particularly well received. “That’s why we’re once again focusing on exciting ‘then and now’ images,” says the head of the archive, Doris Badel.
Anyone who finds any photographs in their personal archive is asked to contact the Kitzingen Tourist Information Centre by email at tourismus@stadt-kitzingen.de or by telephone on 09321 208888.
Photos should ideally be in landscape format. The image rights would need to be transferred to the publishers.
